Gallery 81 features two major exhibitions.

The first is a permanent exhibition of 81 paintings. Unfortunately, these paintings are not for sale. The 81 paintings respond to the artist’s, Luke Harvey’s, reading of the Tao Te Ching.

The Tao Te Ching means something different to each person with each reading. Like the Tao Te Ching, this exhibition has something for everyone. Read it once, read it twice, you’ll find a new meaning each time. You just have to find it. All visitors are encouraged to find a painting they like, read the accompanying reflection and see if it resonates with them.

The second exhibition is a changing exhibition. It comprises of 42 paintings of varying size. All 42 paintings are for sale, and previously sold paintings can be found on the blog. This exhibition features landscapes from around the world. All are completed in an impressionistic style capturing the special light of each landscape.
